How do we determine the correct size for our glasses?
If you already own sunglasses or prescription glasses you can use the measurements written inside the temple arm to guide you in choosing the correct size for your next pair of glasses . This is a simple and effective method to avoid choosing the wrong frame size . The first number you read will be the caliber, the second the bridge size, while the last indicates the temple length.
If you don't have glasses , or the measurements on the lens are faded or difficult to read, grab a credit card – everyone has one at home. To determine if your face is " Small ," " Medium ," or " Large ," use a credit card and position it vertically in the center of your nose, at bridge height.
- SMALL: If the card extends beyond the edge of your eye / Frames suitable for your face range from caliber 42 to 45
- MEDIUM: If the card aligns with the outer edge of your eye / Frames suitable for your face range from caliber 46 to 49
- LARGE: If the card extends beyond the outer edge of your eye / Frames suitable for your face range from caliber 50mm upwards
