The AKONI Juno comes in two constructions. Juno One is the rimless optical frame: Japanese titanium bridge and temples with free-floating lenses, in a shape that blends round and square lines. Juno Two is the sunglass: thin acetate rims around the same shape, titanium bridge and temples, UV-protective lenses. This page lists the versions in stock, each with photographs, finish and details on its own product page.

Construction, finishes and guides

How the Juno is made

Both versions are handmade in Japan. In AKONI frames the details of temples, hinges and bridge echo watchmaking and writing instruments; they show up close, in the titanium work and the finishes (Gold, Silver, Black Gold, Gold Crystal, Palladium Grey). Juno One ships with demo lenses and takes prescription lenses; on Juno Two, fitting prescription lenses depends on your prescription.

Compared with other AKONI frames

If you want a titanium optical frame with more presence, compare the Juno with the Telesto and its sculpted temples. Sizes for each version are on the product page; to compare with your current glasses, read the guide to glasses measurements.
