AR is the best-known Julius Tart Optical frame: the Arnel by Tart Optical, founded in New York in 1948 and worn by James Dean. Today it is made in Japan in cellulose acetate, in sizes 44 and 46 with a 24 mm bridge and 145 mm temples, as glasses or sunglasses.
