OKKUL

OKKUL glasses are handmade in Budapest, Hungary. The brand launched in 2023 and the frames are made by co-founder Zsanett Fábián, who started out cutting acetate sheets by hand with a saw; today the workshop also uses a CNC machine.

About OKKUL

The design starts from vintage and classic shapes made thicker and heavier, with a few shapes off the usual script. A speciality of the brand is laminating several acetate sheets together to create fades between colours. Every frame is numbered. In 2024 OKKUL won the New Designer category at the 100% Optical Love Eyewear Awards.

At OCCHIO! the selection is entirely optical: Aleister, Balthazaar, Beelzebub, Crowley, Juniper, Lilith and Luna. The names come from esotericism and mythology, and the measurements deserve a careful read: Aleister has a 64 mm lens width, while Beelzebub and Luna have an 11 mm bridge. Each product page shows photos and measurements to compare with a pair that already fits you well; all frames can take prescription lenses.

OKKUL glasses are available online and in the OCCHIO! boutique in Crema.
