T HENRI was founded in 2019 by Tyler Henri Gelb, who spent ten years selling hypercars to collectors. The frames take their names and lines from those cars. They are made in Sabae, Japan, in numbered series of 199 pieces per colourway, sometimes far fewer. Once they're gone, they're gone forever.

Hypercars, in a pair of glasses

Many T HENRI model names recall celebrated supercars and hypercars: Gemera, Tuatara, Speedtail, Evija, Sian, Diablo, Pantera. The reference goes beyond the name. Taut lines, metal details and contrasting surfaces borrow the language of automotive design.

Materials and making

Titanium parts are finished with 18K gold electroplating. The acetate is plant-based and produced in Japan, in sheets coloured to order. According to the brand, a custom acetate sheet takes around 60 days to make and a further 120 days to cure, tumble and hand-polish.

Optical frames are marked RX: Gemera Deep Blue RX, H1 Deep Blue RX, Birdcage Shadow II RX, 959 Deep Blue RX (149 pieces), Tuatara Port (55 pieces) and Corniche Port (35 pieces). Several shapes exist in both versions, such as Tuatara, Speedtail, Pantera and Roadrunner.
