These Clarissa Oliverio Art to Wear sunglasses have a bold, geometric design, with a sculptural, futuristic frame that balances daring character and refinement. The substantial 8 mm frame thickness gives this luxury piece real presence, while the glossy black acetate lends it lasting authority and uncompromising elegance.
The real point of difference lies in the details: the inserts on the temples are made of Florentine velvet, woven by hand on historic 19th-century wooden looms.
Wearing this creation means wearing a piece of contemporary art that celebrates Italian artisan manufacturing and a distinctly avant-garde style.
CLARISSA OLIVERIO ART TO WEAR was founded in 2021 by Clarissa Oliverio and Emanuele Dani. An artist originally from Como, Clarissa begins with painting to develop objects that bring art into everyday life.
Her work moves between art and fashion, drawing on images, colours and personal experiences to create accessories. Art to Wear describes that intention: transforming an artwork into something that can be worn and interpreted personally. Eyewear becomes part of the project as an object close to the face and to how people present themselves.
