About this frame
The MASKE P23 model with category 1 lenses offering 100% UV protection is handmade in Italy by expert craftspeople. The frame is made of acetate and can be fitted with prescription lenses. It comes with a case and a lens cleaning cloth.
DREAMED IN BERLIN, HANDMADE IN ITALY
Kuboraum eyewear is not simply an inanimate accessory but a true mask – a symbol of play, and also of display and protection – that changes the way we see ourselves when we put it on: these are “cubic rooms”, a new dimension where we can feel at ease and in harmony with the rest of the world, free to be ourselves and to live and explore all our identities.
KUBORAUM calls its frames “masks”. The idea is that eyewear can change how we see ourselves and how we present ourselves to others: an object through which to play, recognise ourselves and express different aspects of our personality.
The name evokes a cubic room, a personal space in which to feel at ease and free to be ourselves. This image shapes the brand’s approach, treating the frame as a place to inhabit, close to the face and to individual identity.
