About this frame
The MASKE Z17 model with 100% UV-protective lenses is handmade in ITALY by expert craftsmen. The glasses are made of acetate and metal and are suitable for prescription lenses. The frame comes with a case and lens cleaning cloth.
DREAMED IN BERLIN, HANDMADE IN ITALY
Kuboraum glasses are not simply an inanimate accessory, but rather actual masks—synonymous with play, but also with ostentation and protection—which, when worn, change our perception of ourselves: they represent "cubic rooms," a new dimension where we can feel at ease and in harmony with the rest of the world, free to be ourselves, living and experimenting with all our identities.
KUBORAUM calls its frames “masks”. The idea is that eyewear can change how we see ourselves and how we present ourselves to others: an object through which to play, recognise ourselves and express different aspects of our personality.
The name evokes a cubic room, a personal space in which to feel at ease and free to be ourselves. This image shapes the brand’s approach, treating the frame as a place to inhabit, close to the face and to individual identity.
