About this frame
Kuboraum X22 BM GO are acetate sunglasses from the limited-edition Gorgone capsule: black matt with handcraft finishing.
Gorgone is inspired by the Gorgons of Greek myth: hand-applied metal embellishments seem to pierce through the rim and coil around the lenses like serpents. Designed in Berlin, handmade in Italy.

KUBORAUM calls its frames “masks”. The idea is that eyewear can change how we see ourselves and how we present ourselves to others: an object through which to play, recognise ourselves and express different aspects of our personality.
The name evokes a cubic room, a personal space in which to feel at ease and free to be ourselves. This image shapes the brand’s approach, treating the frame as a place to inhabit, close to the face and to individual identity.
