About this frame
The Lesca Picas 1 Miel brings together a crown panto silhouette and translucent honey-coloured acetate.
The faceted upper line, rounded lenses, keyhole bridge and visible metal rivets give the frame its distinctive character.
Picas, also known as Pica XL, is the larger version of the Pica.

In 1964, Joël Lesca introduced his first collection, created in a small workshop in the Secrétan neighbourhood of Paris’s nineteenth arrondissement. That workshop marked the beginning of a family history connected with the shapes and techniques of traditional eyewear making.
Over the years, Joël worked with artisans in France and other European countries. Shaping the frames and using rivets remained central to a production process guided by the skills and pace of the craft.
His sons Mathieu and Bertrand continue this work by returning to earlier collections. The LESCA archive provides a starting point for bringing historic shapes back into production and developing new interpretations while preserving the character of the original brand.
