About this frame
AHLEM Paris 01 features a double stainless steel rim: two precisely crafted rings interlock to create a continuous profile with no visible joints.
The double bevel alternates a polished surface with a hand-satin finish. This contrast highlights the frame's lines without adding visual weight.
The lenses sit in a V-shaped groove, while a concealed closure keeps the rim's profile clean and uniform.
The frame is handmade in France with a 22-carat gold electroplated finish. Each colour is limited to 600 pieces.
AHLEM was founded in 2014 by Ahlem Manai-Platt, a Parisian designer based in Los Angeles. Her French roots and her engagement with art and culture inform the brand’s work.
Bauhaus design is a central reference, with proportion, function and attention to detail shaping each frame. Material choices and the study of finishes give substance to this approach, in which even the smallest elements have a considered role.
