About this frame
Lombards is a glamorous, mod-inspired sunglass design created for smaller faces. Its bold, expressive shape features stepped detailing through the centre of the frame and a contrast between the polished upper section and matte lower section. Produced in a limited edition.
AHLEM was founded in 2014 by Ahlem Manai-Platt, a Parisian designer based in Los Angeles. Her French roots and her engagement with art and culture inform the brand’s work.
Bauhaus design is a central reference, with proportion, function and attention to detail shaping each frame. Material choices and the study of finishes give substance to this approach, in which even the smallest elements have a considered role.
