About this frame
Created to celebrate the new Globe Specs store in Kyoto, this limited-edition acetate and metal frame features an innovative design and unique details. Each frame embodies an exceptional level of craftsmanship and technical skill; the metal arch on the lower edge is electroplated in 22k gold and finely handcrafted.
Each frame is engraved with AHLEM x GLOBE SPECS on the inner temple. This is a limited edition model, produced once, consisting of 200 pieces in three colors.
The frame comes with a case and a cloth for cleaning the lenses.
The POINT MARIE X GLOBE SPECS model with 100% UV-resistant lenses is handmade in FRANCE by expert craftsmen. The glasses are made of cellulose acetate finished with a 22K gold-plated metal arch on the lower edge and are suitable for prescription lenses. The frame comes with a case and lens cleaning cloth.

AHLEM was founded in 2014 by Ahlem Manai-Platt, a Parisian designer based in Los Angeles. Her French roots and her engagement with art and culture inform the brand’s work.
Bauhaus design is a central reference, with proportion, function and attention to detail shaping each frame. Material choices and the study of finishes give substance to this approach, in which even the smallest elements have a considered role.
