About this frame
The Carolin Abram | Valeria | 575 model is handmade in France by expert craftsmen. It is made of metal and is suitable for prescription lenses. The frame comes with a case and a lens cleaning cloth.
CAROLINE ABRAM began as an optician in stores specialising in independent eyewear. In 1998, she started designing jewellery and eyewear accessories, from chains to lorgnettes: glasses with a handle that she brought back into focus through her work.
Her childhood in Dakar and her connection with craftsmanship accompanied the project’s development. She established accessory workshops in Senegal and trained a team of women artisans.
The frames revisit 1960s references through butterfly and cat-eye shapes, generous proportions and an individual use of colour. Her experience as an optician continues to meet her exploration of style in the collections.
