DESIGNED IN PARIS AND TOKYO AND HANDMADE IN JAPAN USING ONLY TAKIRON ACETATE AND PURE TITANIUM.
The champagne-colored Mikado model with NEUTRAL lenses is handmade in Japan by expert craftsmen. The glasses are made of Takiron acetate and are suitable for prescription lenses. The frame comes with a case and lens cleaning cloth.
SAUVAGE brings together France and Japan, two cultures with a long history of exchange in art, fashion and craftsmanship. The brand carries this relationship into eyewear: design develops between Paris and Tokyo, while frames are handmade in Japan.
Material development is part of that process. Acetates are created with Takiron and paired with titanium components and finishes designed for the collections. The metal frames take a more minimal approach to working with titanium.
Lacquer and, in selected creations, diamonds introduce different possibilities for treating the surfaces. They are among the ways SAUVAGE experiments within a production process that connects design with craftsmanship.
