Kuboraum works with sculpted acetate, metal and artistic experimentation, from slender profiles to bold, sculptural volumes. Models are grouped in series identified by a letter, such as the K series, the P series and the rimless H series, Machinery and Hydromechanics, with capsules and special editions alongside.

Where are Kuboraum glasses made?

They are designed in Berlin and made by hand in Italy.

What are the Masks made of?

Acetate, metal, acetate and metal, rimless frames; the Eyecouture line uses precious materials.

What do the letters in the model names mean?

Each letter identifies a series of Masks, such as K, P, H, J, Q or S. The code after the name indicates colour or finish.

Can prescription lenses be fitted?

Yes, at the OCCHIO! boutique in Crema or by your own optician.

Where can I try Kuboraum glasses?

At OCCHIO!, in Crema, 40 minutes from Milan and Bergamo, and online, with international shipping. Before visiting you can write to the boutique in Crema.

Do you ship Kuboraum to Dubai, the UAE and Israel?

Yes. Every Mask ships from Crema, Italy, by tracked express courier to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the United Arab Emirates, to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait, and to Israel. Any import duties and local taxes are paid by the recipient on delivery.

Do you ship Kuboraum to the United States, the UK and the rest of Europe?

Yes. From Crema we ship by tracked express courier to the United States (free over 200 €, US duties are on us: nothing to pay on delivery), to the United Kingdom and Switzerland (free over 299 €, any duties paid on delivery) and to every EU country and Norway (15 €, free over 150 €, no customs duties within the EU). Is Kuboraum a German or an Italian brand?

Kuboraum is based in Berlin, where every Mask is designed, and its frames are made by hand in Italy. The company is Kuboraum GmbH, at Köpenicker Straße 96, where the brand also runs a space open to the public. The house motto sums up the split: "dreamed in Berlin, handmade in Italy".

How do you read the measurements of a Kuboraum Mask?

Measurements are in millimetres, in the order lens width, bridge and temple length. A K3 marked 52/19 has 52 mm lenses and a 19 mm bridge; across the selection, temples are almost always 145 mm. Kuboraum lists lens width, bridge and temple length for every model, and the most reliable check is a comparison with a pair that already fits well.

Can a Kuboraum Mask be ordered online with prescription lenses?

Yes, with single-vision lenses, which can be made remotely from a prescription and the pupillary distance. Progressive lenses are made only at the OCCHIO! boutique in Crema, because they need centring measurements taken in person with the frame on. Kuboraum's optical Masks are built to take prescription lenses, from the slimmest shapes to the most sculptural.

Is Kuboraum climate neutral?

Yes, according to the brand. In 2019 Kuboraum and Innerraum joined Plant-for-the-Planet, the children and youth climate initiative, and they offset their annual greenhouse gas emissions with Gold Standard certificates. Since 2020 they have also funded the planting of 750 trees a year in Mexico, with 3,770 trees planted so far, by the brand's count.

How is a Kuboraum Mask adjusted?

Acetate is adjusted with heat: the optician warms the temples and shapes them until the frame sits correctly on the nose and ears. On metal Masks, the nose pads and temples are adjusted. Any optician can do this; at the OCCHIO! boutique in Crema, about 40 minutes from Milan, it is done during the fitting.

How long does an online Kuboraum order take, and how do returns work?

Orders leave Crema within 3–5 working days by tracked express courier, and delivery time is added on top depending on the country. Returns can be requested within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and the refund is issued once the parcel reaches the boutique in Crema.
