About this frame
The AHLEM Rue Bosquet Black optical frame is handmade in France from cellulose acetate. This model is supplied with clear lenses. The frame is suitable for prescription lenses. A case and lens cleaning cloth are included.
AHLEM places craftsmanship at the heart of every frame. Each pair passes through three specialist workshops and the hands of nine skilled artisans, with close attention to precision, construction and finishing.
AHLEM was founded in 2014 by Ahlem Manai-Platt, a Parisian designer based in Los Angeles. Her French roots and her engagement with art and culture inform the brand’s work.
Bauhaus design is a central reference, with proportion, function and attention to detail shaping each frame. Material choices and the study of finishes give substance to this approach, in which even the smallest elements have a considered role.
