About this frame
From the front, shiny black and geometry. In profile, bordeaux and tortoiseshell: the Kuboraum P8 BST saves the change of color for the temples. The double bridge opens up the front, while the faceted edges bring out its thickness.
This acetate optical version is fitted with clear lenses. Next to the P8 BMG, it shows how the same design can take on a different character through color. Designed in Berlin and handmade in Italy.

KUBORAUM calls its frames “masks”. The idea is that eyewear can change how we see ourselves and how we present ourselves to others: an object through which to play, recognise ourselves and express different aspects of our personality.
The name evokes a cubic room, a personal space in which to feel at ease and free to be ourselves. This image shapes the brand’s approach, treating the frame as a place to inhabit, close to the face and to individual identity.
