About this frame
Roma Art Tiger by Clarissa Oliverio is a pair of sunglasses in red acetate with a geometric, tapered silhouette. A three-dimensional installation of orange and black tiger stripes, hand-modelled in acrylic, runs along the entire top edge of the front and continues onto the temple joints. The lenses are pink.
Each piece is a numbered edition: the decoration is handmade and varies slightly from one piece to the next. The parts in contact with the face remain plain acetate, without decoration.
Clarissa Oliverio is an Italian designer who makes eyewear in small series, handmade in Italy. The same shape is also available as Roma Art Zebra, in black acetate.

CLARISSA OLIVERIO ART TO WEAR was founded in 2021 by Clarissa Oliverio and Emanuele Dani. An artist originally from Como, Clarissa begins with painting to develop objects that bring art into everyday life.
Her work moves between art and fashion, drawing on images, colours and personal experiences to create accessories. Art to Wear describes that intention: transforming an artwork into something that can be worn and interpreted personally. Eyewear becomes part of the project as an object close to the face and to how people present themselves.
