The PICA Ecaille Foncè clair model with 100% UV-resistant lenses is handmade in FRANCE by expert craftsmen. The glasses are made of CELLULOSE ACETATE and are suitable for prescription lenses. The frame comes with a case and lens cleaning cloth.

In 1964, Joël LESCA created his first collection in a small workshop in the Secrétan district of the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Inspired by the techniques of the past, LESCA glasses are riveted and shaped according to strict specifications.
In 1964, Joël Lesca introduced his first collection, created in a small workshop in the Secrétan neighbourhood of Paris’s nineteenth arrondissement. That workshop marked the beginning of a family history connected with the shapes and techniques of traditional eyewear making.
Over the years, Joël worked with artisans in France and other European countries. Shaping the frames and using rivets remained central to a production process guided by the skills and pace of the craft.
His sons Mathieu and Bertrand continue this work by returning to earlier collections. The LESCA archive provides a starting point for bringing historic shapes back into production and developing new interpretations while preserving the character of the original brand.
