About this frame
The upper rim rises toward the temples; the matte black brings out the outline. Kuboraum K5 Black Matt is a cat-eye optical frame in acetate, with a bold front and temples that continue its line.
It is the version to start from to see the K5 shape clearly: few reflections, clearly legible thicknesses, a distinct presence on the face. Designed in Berlin and handmade in Italy.

KUBORAUM calls its frames “masks”. The idea is that eyewear can change how we see ourselves and how we present ourselves to others: an object through which to play, recognise ourselves and express different aspects of our personality.
The name evokes a cubic room, a personal space in which to feel at ease and free to be ourselves. This image shapes the brand’s approach, treating the frame as a place to inhabit, close to the face and to individual identity.
