About this frame
Lesca Pica 424 combines the character of a crown panto frame with dark tortoiseshell acetate. Its bevelled upper line, rounded lens outline and keyhole bridge define the shape.
Amber streaks run through the deep brown acetate, revealing different tones in the light. This optical frame is handmade in France.

In 1964, Joël Lesca introduced his first collection, created in a small workshop in the Secrétan neighbourhood of Paris’s nineteenth arrondissement. That workshop marked the beginning of a family history connected with the shapes and techniques of traditional eyewear making.
Over the years, Joël worked with artisans in France and other European countries. Shaping the frames and using rivets remained central to a production process guided by the skills and pace of the craft.
His sons Mathieu and Bertrand continue this work by returning to earlier collections. The LESCA archive provides a starting point for bringing historic shapes back into production and developing new interpretations while preserving the character of the original brand.
