About this frame
Paloceras Pebble RX Velvet Rouge is an oval sunglasses frame in glossy red acetate with gradient pink lenses. The rounded volumes of the Pebble collection give depth to the front and make the frame's profile instantly recognisable.
- 8 mm Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate.
- Gold-plated Visottica core wire and 5-barrel hinges.
- Gradient pink CR39 lenses, with anti-reflective coating on the inner side and 100% UV protection.
The frame comes with a case and a microfibre cloth for cleaning the lenses.

PALOCERAS grew from the shared work of Alexis Perron-Corriveau and Mika Matikainen. The founders brought different experience to the project: one from woodworking and product design, the other from the digital world.
A design experiment became the starting point for creating physical objects. In Lisbon in 2023, drawings, digital images and handmade prototypes accompanied the development of the Pebble collection. Moving from an idea to a material object remains central to their work: finding ways to construct shapes that initially seemed possible only on a screen.
